I've got a bad coral scrape that's starting to heal up. Any tips on how to help keep it from scarring would be appreciated.

Get some Mederma, or other kind of scar cream. I used Neutrogena Scar Solution for a surgical scar I had and it really helped.

stay OUT of the sun, either cover it or use high SPF broad spectrum sunblock, cheaper than plastic surgery to get rid of it later

Try vitamin E oil/cream. I had a nasty gash on my throat on which I applied it and it worked wonders. I still have a scar, but it could have been very much worse.

When you get to the store ask for silicone scar sheets. Apply one to the area and wear at night while you are sleeping. Apply vitiman E , or natural aloe to the area during the day.
