sbt-70 canister light

Have just started this build and will try to post pictures of the work in progress
light head is a scubamafia empty head, reflector is an Maglite rebel reflector , the led will be an luminus sbt-70 7000k, 1710 lumen @ 10,5 A
the led will rest on an copper slug and the driver is an adjustable 9A buck converter who will also be placed at the copper slug
Have decided to first build the head and have it completed and after that the battery canister with magnetic switch

Have had some time and are trying to puzzle the parts together.. the copper slug is nearly completed just need to be milled for
the led to fit, a small m4 screw is securing the slug in the head, a nylon distance ring is between the copper and the driver
The plan is to solder the led to the slug bye pre heating the copper and applying solder paste but need to test this first
its going to be interesting to see the final result and i am hoping for a tight spot
