I had the opportunity this week to dive the SBD Dauntless in San Diego that @California Diver found and identified in late 2019.

Temps were 52F on the bottom and 57F on the last stop. Runtime was 86 minutes with about an hour of that on (a very cold) deco. Conditions weren't great. It was "hazy" at the bottom and there was a lot of seaweed on the wreck (likely due to the recent storms). You can immediately tell that the wreck was the result of a violent crash.

I had hoped to get good pictures and build a photogrammetry model of the wreck site but I'm not sure that is going to happen without another dive. I'll work on it this week and see how it goes.
