I would recommend a review of the CHDK post as in 2012 most of the cameras S and G series shoot RAW and lots of the CHDK settings are just an overkill
In fact you only need some key basic settings for example on the S90/95/100 to be all set as most of the CHDK add ons are either irrelevant underwater or supported natively by the camera interface
