Spotted some sorted divers today at 60ft.

BP/W
Solid paddle fins
Spring straps
Perfect trim
Perfect buoyancy
Shearwater computer
Excellent air consumption.
Own SMBs
No flocking behavior
No dangling gear

Any chance it's someone we know?

I was vaguely sidemount scurrying around with prototype veined fins and a dslr reg and dual strobes. Mamma diving with me today too, SM as well.

Sure was enjoyable watching experienced in control divers interacting with the reef. One guy had an awesome wrist mounted note pad too (magnetic erasable?)

All wore hoods. Bright colors.

Cheers.

Wish it was me. I have a Perdix but that’s about it! :rofl3:

Just let me add, something to aspire to.

Other than good buoyancy & trim with no danglies the rest is falderal. Surprised a fellow SBer would get all giggly over hoo-ha. :poke: :)

@RayfromTX and his wife are in Coz at the moment?

Since tone is difficult online, here's a friendly clarification:

Entirely agree. A diver is more than the cut of their suit. Was intending to describe the observable primary characters of the SB diver which lead to my attempted ID. Also it does seem like an equipment configuration that works well.

..I'm a SB diver, but at that moment in the dive the only thing I confidently had was good air consumption. If someone wants to donate a shearwater I'll happily gain a second characteristic.

Were they diving with pony bottles? :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:
