Not the gear, Mike isn't a diver, just the dude, same shape stance and face. He literally looks like my mate Mike.
I for one can always use a laugh even if it's on an old cartoon, that doesn't mean I can't use another laugh.

On a side note my ex-wife used to call me a gadget diver and she said that if I bought one more diving related item that she was going to leave me…. Well that was 10 years ago and not a day goes by that I wonder what she would think of my latest gadget if we were still married.
