I'm a Fish!
Ok ... We went to Karpata to dive today... There we met a cute little calico kitty cat... We named her "Scuba" and gave her a snack and a cup of cold water to drink... She is a very friendly cat that needs some loving scuba divers to help her out... So, if you are going to dive Karpata if you could bring her a can of cat food and a drink of fresh water... It would be great.... We are headed back on Monday to dive again and will bring her some food... may even leave a few cans for others to use to feed her... Lets show her what good people we are..:thumb:

Jim....

feeding strays doesn't make you a good person.

No... We should just let her walk around hungry and thirsty... Because it may cost you a few pennies to help her out... Would you turn your back on a child... Or the homeless...

Thankfully their are people that can feel companion for a living animal.... ;)

Wow, I am so glad you reminded me of this Kitty Jim.( well sort of , its been in the back of my mind) When I was just there a week ago, the same little kitty gave us a send off at Karpata and a welcome as we came back. I meant to call The Animal Shelter but got distracted with coming back to the US and now getting back into the US frame of mind..... if you are there, let the animal shelter know about the kitty, she looks like a calico..... First time I have ever seen her/him there. Animal shelter is located off Kaya Korona on Kaminda Loegan.( there is a chineese bar on the right had corner as you turn onto Kamina Loegan(spelling?) And I think you are a good person by the way!:angel2:

Calico's are always female. My wife does cat rescue in her spare time. When we went to Bonaire she had already researched it and brought food for the cats at Buddy Dive. Same thing when we went to Venice. We walked around St. Mark's square looking for the stray cats she read about. For our wedding in St. Thomas, we had cat food cans behind our Jeep. We understand the pitfalls of feeding stray cats. If you're going to feed, you have to fix too...
