Mork calling Orson, come in Orson. Probably no one home as you suggest - look at the date of the original post. Agreed, thread should be closed if item is no longer for sale but I've forgotten about one or two along the way and that's probably what happened. Or, OP is on vacation. Or has mother-in-law visiting.

I would tend to agree on the date reasoning. Only thing that makes me wonder is there is no action on the thread at all other than me asking for more info
