Since there has been some discussion about SARS around here. I attended a CDC satellite information broadcast session today. and thought I would share. Just a few tidbits.

It is strongly suspected to be a new strain of Corona virus.

Modes of transmission are not totally understood yet. It is transmitted through droplet (coughing, sneezing, etc)

A treatment regimin has not been totally nailed down yet. Antivirals and high dose steriods have worked though.

Check www.cdc.gov and www.who.int for more info.
