[h=1]The popularity is so that we are already working on the bookings for 2016, but as life goes some cancellations, and there is couple of spaces going begging!
Dates: 26th June to 7th July 2015

The annual Sardine Run 2016.

It is a must for any body that is in love with the ebb and flow of that wide blue yonder.[/h]This one’s a year phenomena is on the horizon and I want to put the word out there for any Scuba divers and or snorkelers.Calling them to be witness to the greatest migration of the world.
The sheer numbers of Sardines could rival the East Africa’s great wildebeest migration in terms of biomass ( Great Wildebeest Migration | Maasai Mara)
This creates a feeding frenzy “extravaganza” along the South Coast of South Africa, any aspiring underwater photographer’s dream, so much action and picture opportunities present it self at the same time, it literally makes your head spin!
Buddy, say ( keep eye’s behind camera, it makes for better photos)

Dolphin pods can easily reach 5000 strong and being in the water snorkeling with them is mind blowing,
With regards to the birds, the Cape Gannets accompany the “commons” most of the day and from the boat one gets the easiest indicator of action as they swarm and dive in immeasurable numbers, gorging themselves on sardines.
Sharks, whales and game fish not forgetting Cape Fur Seals all gather at mother nature’s banquet table.
This is X Mas! May;June ;July in the Water’s off the South Coast of Africa………Marine animals did definitely not get the memo of when to celebrate the X Mas holiday's.
Mother nature holds the specific's, a close guarded secret. It all depending on the temperature of the water, when the colder water of the Benguela heads up north to Mozambique.
