Santorini Any dive tips?

Will be staying on Santorini for 5 days the end of April. Am looking forward to diving the volcano. A trip to "Atlantis" seems appropriate. Any feedback on dive experiences there.

Wife does not dive so this is cultural/dive vacation. Do not want to haul dive gear through Europe, so really need input on (ugh!) rental gear.

Sorry I have no dive tips Santorini. I even had to google it to find out where it is.

there is a atleast 1 good dive spot in Santroni, just east of the South end of the caldara and at least a few dive boats
