SANTIAGO DE CUBA In Jan

Hey Folks,

We will be in SANTIAGO DE CUBA Jan 16-23 to do some diving and was wondering if there will be any other members in that area. We are staying @ C.A. CARISOL CORALES. We got a great deal on it. 630.00 Cad per person AL. So it is worth going to a 3*. If anyone has been there before pleas let me know what to expect and if you will be in the area the same week maybe join up for some diving (I pretty sure there is only (1) shop in the area anyway.)

It has been a while since your post, but... I was wondering if you went diving? If so, how was it, where did you go, and who did you dive with?

Hi there,
Funny, I just came here to search for Santiago de Cuba, and found this post. Wing nut is my DH.. and yes, we were planning a trip to Santiago at that time, but we ended up somewhere else (San Andres, I believe)

So, I don't have any Santiago info.. we are actually now considering it again for this June. Any dive info would be appreciated!

Yup, just re-read his post. We were all booked for the Carisol Corales, when the tour operator cancelled the trip b/c the plane wasn't filled up enough. That's when we had the chance to change to San Andres -- which turned into a fabulous trip !!
