I have heard of people drift diving the Sante Fe River. I was looking for some info on doing this. Does anyone dive it without going to Ginnie and paying for the admission there? I live in the area, but have not gone to Ginnie yet. There are a lot of places to enter and exit, but the actual drift time I am not sure of. I don't want to get halfway to the exit and run out, or find out I have 2 hours to go further. Any tips recommondations would be appreciated.

Sante Fe is a long river with likely hundreds of "dive sights". Perhaps you could narrow it down a bit?

True.. Somewhere around the High Springs area. It would be after River Rise. I did not know how the area around Rum Island was. If it would be clearer before or after there. We could put in off a boat ramp and come out at Rum Island, but I wasn't sure how long of a trip that would be. However I am open for suggestions. Most of the areas I was thinking would be up river from Ginnie.
