Santa Barbara Island

Went out to Santa Barbara Island on the Peace this Sunday, August 26, 2012. The visibility was awesome. The water was also warm at 66 degrees.

The sea lions were not very playful yesterday. We only had a couple in the water. In fact when I came back to the boat is when I was able to get the pic of that one. Usually I have had multiple sea lions in the water. The ray was just a lucky shot. It was coming right at me when someone pointed it out.

I did find a bunch of other rays buried in the sand at the Rookery but when I tried to get close they took off.
