What can you tell me about this place and Antigua in general. I will be making a trip there in March. Any suggestions of things to see, places to eat, dive ops to use? Thanks!:D

I did five 2 tank dives with Indigo Divers in July and was pleased. Clean boat, nice people, good briefings. They are based in Jolly Harbor and dive on Cades reef on the south western side of the island. Also did a round-the-island tour on the Wadadali catamaran. It was just OK. All the Brits with no sun screen turn flaming red over the day, Ouch...

haha the brits turning bright red might make the trip worth while!

Sandals eh ! The diving is included : ) Why leave the resort and pay twice for diving ? We stayed at the Sandals in St Lucia last year and the resort is amazing. The diving was really good too. Antigua Sandals is next on our list.

Have a good trip.

I stayed at Sandals in St Lucia. Enjoyed the hotel but the diving was not great. Nothing wrong with diving in St Lucia but found the Sandals Dive people to be really disorganised.

The diving was included in the price so I couldn't really complain.

The dives were really short and if you are a more frequent diver then I wouldn't recommend Sandals. If you are more of a social diver just doing a couple of dives because you are on vacation then they are fine.

In St Lucia we would get picked up from the hotel at about 7.30am and arrive at the dock around 8am if I remember correctly. We would then wait anything up to an hour while tanks were filled and gear was arranged. This is the kind of stuff I'd expect to be done before I arrive. Especially as we had to book in advance at the hotel, where we gave our gear requirments to the staff.

As far as Antigua Sandals goes I have not stayed there or dived with them but did read the article about them leaving a few divers behind.

I have stayed in Antigua but stayed else where and did not dive as I was only there a couple of days. The Antigua Sandals does look very nice though and is on a great little beach.

I dove Antigua a few years ago with Ultramarine Scuba diving courses, PADI dive centre Antigua, Barbuda, Redonda I was very pleased with them.

We dove the south side of the island, and I would rank it close to the BVI's as a dive location, not as much coral but lots of fish, and we saw turtles & a nurse shark. The north side of the island a sucks for diving, shallow and full of dead coral. We stayed at Club Colonna on the north side, which is a good resort if you have kids.
