San Pedro Lobsterfest - Lobster diving a possibility?

We will be in San Pedro for lobsterfest and were wondering if anyone runs tourist trips to hunt for lobster?

Never heard of them. I'm not even sure of the legality.

I would check into it but it's legal for tourists to spearfish and fish here. I don't know why it would be illegal to get lobster. But you can't do it on scuba. Free diving only.

Stop at Cholo's after about 3:30 in the afternoon and ask for Jerry Ack. He will take you and or teach you lobstering. However, it is all freediving. BTW Jerry is totally legit with a tour guide license ect. I have just had bad luck at getting in touch with him by email or telephone.
