I use to dive with my mom and dad as a kid. Nothing far from the surface back in those days. hehe My parents were part of a dive club back then and we use to camp on san juan island every summer as part of a reunion/campout(or something). Recently I was givien an opportunity to purchase some dive gear which I'm going to go for. As of a matter in fact both me and my brother are going to get gear and training(of course) an start diving. I was wondering if anybody here was at San Juan Island at one of those Mikes Dive Shop Campouts?

No, but I have dove Lopez Island and a couple of the remote others. No crowds and nice diving. Watch the tidal changes, they can be rough.

I havn't dove there; but, from the pictures I've seen, I would like to try it sometime.

I see you're new to the forum. Have you found the Pacific Northwest Orca Bait section yet? Your question might get more replies there.
