I am considering San Andres and Providencia the first week of December. Can anyone tell me what conditions are like at that time? Is it still the rainy season and are the vis and surface conditons affected? I don't mind a little rain but it is too difficult to get there to be stuck onshore. Could possibly go later if need be.
Thanks

Hi cr8tn
November is the re rainy season from there it goes into there northly wind season sometime in December lasting thru January. December and January is also there high season so you should book early if you are going these months.
I have been there in these months and had some of the best weather ever, but you are more likely to get these conditions in these months and the vis will be according to the weather. Rain and wind cause vis to go down…even on a bad day you will get 20-25 ft vis for some this is great, I have never seen it worse than this.
I am planning a trip in March to San Andres and Old Providence if you want to go at a later date
Contact me for more info if your interested.
