Hi to all,

I just bought and tested my Canon Powershot A620 last weekend at Planet Dive. I must say that this little camera exceeded my expectations both in still pictures and videos. Its not super-professional quality but with little more time I'll get the hang of it... changing settings, hovering and not moving too much done all at once!

Now my question is how can I post my photos here at SB...hmmmmmm?:06:

You can attach a file that will show up as a thumbnail that users can click for a larger version. Try to keep file sizes under 100kb and set your longest side for 640 pixels - this should display easily on most monitors.

You can also upload into one of SBs galleries, including your own though there are a few glitches at the moment so be patient. Same file sizes work best. Then you can copy the url and the image in real size will appear when you paste it into the message.

well ... you go to the gallery and click the Upload Photos link at the right hand side of the screen.

Wih A620 is there any way to change the white balance for movies?
(just wondering: I have the A80 and wasn't able to :( )

hi and thanks utnapistim...with A620, it automatically uses white balance...however, i have to get back to you about your A80. my friend uses an A80, will ask him about it.

Cheers!

Very nice photos indeed. Did you use a strobe for the A620? and what mode did u use? Thanks. I just got mine and I am taking it to Grand Cayman next week

Most impressive :).

Im not the thread starter, but I just bought an A620 last week. In movie mode, so far I have found Auto white balance and 7 white balance presets, including underwater. I do not know yet if manual/custom white balance is possible in movie mode, but with the loads of presets, it may not be necessary.
