Hello, Just sent my payment for a salvo reg. Just wondering, has anyone eles used this item?
Chris

Interesting that you're asking the question after you've purchased the reg. Typically the recommended order is (1) investigate the item and (2) buy the item. Reversing the two will often times cause you to waste your money.

Regarding these regs, I have heard that they're good, generic regulators, but I have no first hand experience.

Ya, I have been looking into it and seemed good. I went and bought them but now its like hmmm am I sure. Will they come with me towards tec, all that stuff you know.

I likewise have no first-hand experience, but my understanding is that quite a few "technical" divers use them as decent and cheap regs for stage bottles and such.

I could swear u just said you quit for some other thing Hybrid, didnt u just sell the gear cuz u were quitting the sport?

and yea, thats eems like a good question to ask before you buy

No, I sold gear that I did not use. Kinda like you see people on here sell stuff they dont use anymore, like i did.

I have this reg and it breathes great! I have no trouble with anything I have purchased through SALVO. Barry stands behinds the products he sells!

I use it as my back up!

Take care,

The Salvo regs are ok,,,,not the best out on the market IMO,,,but are affordable for certain applications in diving.

I have several of those regs (salvo and others, but all made by the same manufacturer). They are pretty decent regs for deco/stage as mentioned above. They do tend to be tuned high (high IP) and that leads to sensitive/free flow breathing, but that can be adjusted. Would I use them for main regs? Not sure, but they are on all my stages etc.
