Yep, so... according to the other popular dive light makers in the Florida area, I am "extremely rough" on my gear. :11doh:

So, my buddy and I were going to do line work at a nearby cave. I geared up and flipped the light switch on my over 2 year old Salvo 21w primary. It flickered and went out. I tried again, same thing. "Great..." So I roll in with a semi-primary backup light to finish the needed work with my buddy.

We get out of the water, and I call up Barry at Salvo (it's 3pm on Saturday). He asks if I can get it to him today and I say it may take me a bit to drive there, and he said to come. So we jumped in the truck and headed there. We got there right at closing time.

I figured Barry was going to have me leave the light and ship it to me when done. I was wrong. Barry worked on the light and got it all fixed while staying late to do so. He had me back up and running on all 21 watts for the next dive.

All I can say is "Thanks again, Barry" for that superior customer service. Personally, all of my future light and tech gear will be from Salvo. There is something to say for an owner of a company like this being the one to go the extra mile.

You're lucky you can drive there.

I've always had exceptional service from those guys ...

Same here. Sadly had to send in my video lights this week.
