My wife and I are heading to SC mid March would like some feed back where to stay We would like to be on the Beach and do not necessarly need a kitchen but at least a fridge. Any other suggestions about the island would be helpful as well we plan on diving with SC Divers

Just get one of the units at Tradewinds that Deb and Ollie rent out. We have stayed there twice. Just walk through the pines and you are on the little beach. They have a comfortable bedroom along with a small livingroom. All the units have a frig.
As for other ideas, eat at Miss Pats at least one night (island home cooking). Inland Thyme is good for a couple of nights. Deb has been running a little restaurant that served good food as well. Just remember - you need to let people know you are coming for dinner that morning. It also helps to let them know what you might like as well.
