Sailing / Windsurfing @ San Pedro

Travelling to Ambergris Caye in Feb and can't find much on the web in regards to rending dinghies or hobie / nacra sailboats or even windsurfing boards / sails for a few hours - I assume that this is stuff that goes on there right? Anyone got any pointers to names of places that may rent so I can get a feel for prices? How about recommendations of places with good equipment?

Sail Sports Belize is located at Caribbean Villas about 1 mile south of town. they have all the items you are looking for. Nice guys and very good teachers if you want instruction. Or you can just rent the sailboats and enjoy the reef.

hey there,

alot is going to depend on what level of sailing you are looking for , you get the usal resort little cats , nothing really like a good old hobie 14 or 16 there are one or 2 dinghys around like the small laser picos ... your best bet is kite surfing or windsurfing or you can come down to us and do some sailing on a big kitty cat, if you want when you get here come down to ecologic divers and we can see what we can help you with ......
