I need to get more batteries for my S-70, and can't find any canon batteries anywhere. Anyone have any ideas? I got some off brand batteries, but they didn't last long at all, less than a year. In fact, I need to replace all of them. Anyone had any luck with off brand? If so, can you let me know where you got them. My off brand batteries charged OK the first couple of times, but now they go into the charger, and flash red and green and don't take a charge.

I have purchased several brand x units off ebay for my S330. They are working out well, and they are very inexpensive.

Brand X - you get what you pay for.

I got a free Brand X from Hong Kong it lasted half as long as the real article.

With the Nb 2lh you can shoot up to 340 shots with flash. The brand x wont even come close to that number.

I will bring a battery for each dive I make. So If I know I am diving 3 times on a particular day. I will bring 3 batteries. You dont want to say, darn missed that killer shot cuz i dont have any juice left.

I've been using batteries purchased from the eBay store "eforcity." The batteries are around $1.99 plus shipping for the NB-2LH knockoffs and they've worked great. I usually get two 1 hour dives in before the low battery light comes on. I've had a set for over a year now and no problems. Another buddy of mine, has had them a year longer and they are starting to fail, but for a $1.99 you just can't beat it, compared to the $60+ price tag for the Canon NB-2L.

I just checked it is $10.00 delivered.

Thanks, I couldn't find them anywhere. I hate to spend that kind of money, but I think it will be well worth it.

I've tried the Brand-X, and they are horrible. Not worth missing a shot over as far as I'm concerned. In the long run, I would probably spend more $ on having to keep replacing those after just a few charges.

Welcome ... glad to be off help.

sometimes Compusa will have them for sale.

Just ordered 5, hopefully I won't need anymore soon :) I'll be in Utila for 2 weeks coming up, and I don't want to miss anything good because I had crap batteries.
