I am currently using and S400 w/YS 90DX strobe. For those who are using the S400 and an external strobe, what settings are you using? In warm, clear water I am getting OK results with the exposure setting at sunny , with the strobe on a low setting. I have also experimented with setting a custom white balance off my slate to get more natural colors and not using the strobe. I know that the settings will ultimately depend on the specific shooting conditions, but are there "rules" that you usually shoot by? I have not come close to getting "keepers" in cold water yet. My strobe angle needs work (but I'm getting really good at capturing backscatter though!!) Any tips? Thanks.
