Canon just posted a version 1.0.2 for the S100 yesterda. Allegedly it corrects a step zoom issue with the control ring where focal length may not adjust properly when using rig and step zoom
It doesn't look like CHDK has caught up with this release...so I wouldn't be too fast in upgrading if you use CHDK
