S & S YS-25DX or Ikelite DX50?

Newbie still looking still not sure! I'm sure opinions like this are always asked here so thanks in advance. Due to cost I am seriously considering either the S&S YS-25DX or the Ike ds-50. Probably will go with the complete package for either(tray,arm,strobe). If you recommend the Ike should a newbie go with the manual controller or the TTL. I have the Pt-015. I mainly snorkel (looking for compact outfit) but also dive and would not want to limit myself too much for future expansion. Thanks again.

i have the ds 50 with a 3040 and pt-010 housing but have just got the 5050 and waiting for a housing.

the ds50 is more powerful than the dx25

dx25 is manual and ds50 is ttl (as per the camera).

choice is yours, but i would go for the ds50 with ttl you can always add another later
