I'm a Fish!
From my personals this Large, Scubapro exquisite, NEW, NEVER USED, Stabilizing (STAB) jacket is flawless. Grab your chance for 1 of the most comfortable & travel BCD’s ever & see why it owns 4 US Patents.
I (rotate) dive with 4 of these with Air 2’s.
Note: (Scubapro’s 3 lb power inflator is NOT included & only shown for comedic relief…..as I’m not quite ready to part with it just yet….)
Any standard or Air 2 power inflator will fit.
(Or I can install a standard one (not Air 2) with lp fill hose, for an additional $25). Text (preferred) / call (414) 943-DIVE b4 you buy cause your dealing with +21 Trader Histories and all sales are final.
Checks only or save-a-stamp with Venmo.

These jackets, because of their close fit and characteristics make a phenomenal base for a side mount rig. Add a harness and it will be one of the best rigs that you have ever used.

The plastic blow-molded backpack has a slot built into the bottom that accepts a crotch strap.

I really like these old SP SSJ's. Simple, no nonsense. No bladder. (Neoprene-coated internally.) This model (with the detachable pockets) is a 2nd gen model, I think. Most of the SSJ's used in my open water class (1986 NAUI/YMCA university course) were this model. My very first BCD, purchased new in 1987, was an orange 3rd gen, taco pocket model SSJ.

Ah, the memories, dived a loved those jackets for years.
My first jacket BC after using a Fenzy Horse collar [for dives over 18m only].
That one looks in good nick.

Size: Large (as listed & headlined)
You are correct on the crotch strap slot.
and Gen 2. I’ve attached a Gen 1 ad. They had the chest dump & stainless steel tank band with the simple “pull down “ lever tightening handle.

G'day, what's a, Scubapro 3 lb power inflator, thanks dude

Given the shape and position of the handle how do you pull it down to tighten, is your rig atop a ladder and still

See last pic of the “3 lb” inflator…
- 3 lb is a private bad joke as these were 2x size/weight of standard & as SCUBAPRO had to be the only 1’s with a larger diameter lp hose, we always razed them that it’s probably only good for 3 lbs (or 3 psi).

After you d adjust the S steel tank band to the diameter of your tank, the upright plastic handle, right next to the backplate would be pushed down 90 deg to lock band & raised to release (ingenious)
