I'm looking at the cruise offer through the scubatoys.com website in connection with Scubaboard. It's offered for $762.94 PP. If I were to book this cruise directly through Royal Carribean it's only $699. PP. What is being offered that is extra?

That trip is not actually booked through us... We're just collecting the money and forwarding to Natasha from ScubaBoard. Here is her info so you can PM her directly: http://scubaboard.com/member.php?u=68 But what she told us is the price you are seeing on Royal's price does not include the taxes... that is the difference. But she should be able to explain it... She runs the travel agency that's booking it!

HI scubawaltandnita!

Yes, Joe or was it Larry? Is right. Not only does that price not include port taxes and gov taxes, it also seems to be a lower catagory then we have. We are in the N inside cabins and the E1 balconies.

We have had others jump on the cruise this week also. And it realy worked out to talk to them on the phone to answer all questions. Can I call you today? Or would you like to call me?

713-705-8606. I'm in Houston.
Hope to hear from you!

Cruise lines add port fee and taxes on when you purchase the cruise. I recently booked a cruise for $779 with Carnival and the final invoice had an extra $160 added on.

letsgodiving~~Thanks for the reinforcement.:)

Scubawalt is was great talking to you today. You are SO going to fit into this group. Can't wait to vacation with you both!

Royal Caribbean also constantly changes the pricing on their cruises depending on many factors; how fast each catagory is selling, how many rooms are left in the catagory, days left to sailing, any last minute cancellations and other factors. I've seen a particular cabin change prices 4 times in 2 weeks even though everything else stayed the same. Royal Caribbean just like any other business is trying to get as much as possible for each room while leaving no room empty. Just like the airlines and seats. Why else do I pay $49 for a flight when the guy next to me pays $149 for the exact same flight just because he booked it later/earlier/on Tuesday/after 6 or whatever.

Seems like a Great Cruise, but my wife wants to go on a 12 day in Dec 2007.

I understand there's about 20+ more people than us going on this trip....Who's going...Sound off here!:D

Only about 8 are from scubaboard..and that's including me, and Joe..and you and Nita...
There is still 9 cabins available on this group..but I'm not sure SB people are finding it..

What about the diving ? Are there any group dives planned or does each person just book their individual dives thru the cruise line ?
