Has anyone done the Northern Sea of Cortez with the Rocio del Mar?

Any info would be appreciated.

can't help now but I will be on that trip next month.

The Midriff Islands in the Sea of Cortez are wonderful to dive and full of life. In the summer the whale sharks come cruise by. The water is warm, ton's of sea stars of all types, so many cortez rays flock by to glitter the seas.

It's been since 2007 since I've dove in this area and am looking forward to seeing it again in 3 weeks with my friends, Capt. Lolo and Dora aboard the Rocio del Mar.

Which month were you there?

Was it too Hot?

Thanks!

Im excited, just 11days until my trip.

Beaverdivers, when I worked in that area I dove 61 deg on May 1st and 84 deg mid-August. The twice daily extreme tidal chanes of 18-30 ft are part of the extreme temp changes.
