This summer I'm looking for a place in Roatan to finally achieve Dive Master. My budget is kind of tight and I'd like to pinch all the pennies I can, considering I am a college student. I'm thinking of a total around ~$2200. I plan on staying for 6-8 weeks since I am only a Master diver, and not a certified rescue diver. Does anyone have any ideas for this first time diving trip/vacation? I am currently looking at Coconut Tree Divers, and Subway Water Sports, both of which have amazing websites, but I am not foolish enough to base decisions off of websites. Any recommendations/ideas!?

Thanks
SSteve

My suggestion is to hit the back button on your browser to get the list of threads on this forum, then look down about 1 inch to see a very similar thread to this one.

I thought the PADI "Master Diver" certification had rescue as a prerequisite.

My question too ... how did you get the Master Diver rating without going thru Rescue first?
