My wife and I are pretty new to diving (<30dives) and were looking at Riptide BCs. They fit very well and seemed to be of good quality.
So I tried to find the manufacturer online but did not had any success. Does anyone know what the story is? :06:

I wonder if it is a good idea to buy from a obviously small manufacturer. Should I be worried about spare parts and service? Maybe it is better to stay with the bigger brands (e.g. Mares)?

Call my LDS at 1-877-ScubaUSA. Ask for Phil, tell him Eugene sent you. Phil is a great guy and a very experienced diver.

This reply is actually for everyone who is interested in Riptides. I realize this thread was first posted in 2003 and so i felt kind of bad that there were no replies.

My girl friend and I both have riptides (zone and grace) and we both love them!
Also a local PSD Team are replacing their old BCs with zones.
