It had looked like it would head for Cuba over the last few days, but turning to the Bay Islands and Atolls. Long ranges guesses sending it up the coast. From Tropical Storm Rina : Tracking Map : Weather Underground

Thanks for the information DD. Is it still a TS or has it been upgraded to Hurricane?
Wonder how it will affect COZ/Playa del Carmen in the next few days.
The above map is auto updating ok so it's not expected to get to hurricane strength until Wednesday, and then no more than Cat-1 - but all that is subject to change of course, including the path which gives Cozumel a direct hit Friday. Sooner, later, stronger, weaker, inland, etc. :idk:

Rain bands look like they could start hitting Coz mid to late week, and - there is another system trying to organize in the southeast Caribbean headed that way later if it succeeds...

Whoops! :shocked2: It's a lot more than we expected...!

Now at Cat-1, expected to build to Cat-3 now. You never know what they will do...?! :idk:
