amazing! 290ft depths...

2 hours to decompress!

they carried 4 100+cf steel tanks each, and tanks left along the way to decompress!

the water is clear all the way down, basically clear as far as the eye can see.

all fresh water springs in florida.

wow!!!

no... gps doesn't work well underground from what i remember...

they got to 18,040 feet along the cave... they explored for 6 hours and decompressed for 8 hours... YES! they were underwater for 14 hours!!!

they estimate that the caves continue to the ocean; 25 miles away!!!!

Thanks for the info, I was unable to watch it today but I set the TiVo for the replay on the 3rd. I can't wait to watch it.
 
I saw one on PBS (i think)... the divers dove in the ocean into a freshwater boil that led into the aquifer system. They were able to some how maintain contact with the divers and then figure out what buildings they were beneath.

Later on they connected freshwater springs to canals to drainage ditches to sewers to manholes.
 
I was able to watch the last 25 minutes of the show. It was some really neat HD footage of the WKPP folks doing what they do. George Irvine and Jerod Jablonski were the primary divers with about 20 support divers/crew.

I need to catch the recast and Tivo it for sure.
