Have never heard of them Warren, but after reading this horror story ( http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=143701).

I think it probably is more prudent to stay with an established brand.
I could be wrong of course, I have never heard of RiData they could be a very good brand.

Personally if I were looking for a 'budget' card i'd look for PNY or even the slower rated cards in the sandisk range..
It is a great price though.., if you check out amazon or epinions there might be some reviews for the RiData cards...

Just got one (2gb). Works fine, but I haven't put more than a few test photos on it. I suspect that there are only a handful of places that actually make the cards, the rest is just OEM branding.

I thought the RiData price was worth a try.

I read some reviews off the net and there didn't seem to be any complaints. I figured for the price, it was worth a try.

Ridata is a well know brand in Taiwan.

They have lifetime warranty on their products.

I have one for my oly (512MB)...The price was right and I am super satisfied with it

That is a good price
