got it from B&H. ironically, as if the camera gods were listening, my D3 arrived today 3 or 4 hours after posting that piece. Ta da! I'm psyched - like a little kid with a new shiny toy! I'm pissed, I have meetings tomorrow. I may take the D3 into Manhattan and shoot some skyline. I've been playing with it in the house with no flash at ISO 6400 and it's taking some great pictures. I'm looking forward to this.

yup i'll do that for sure.

it's been sitting on my desk for a few days waiting for me to play with it. the only non DX lens I have is the 16mm fisheye, so that's what i'm playing with. i need to buy the new 14-24 for the D3 to replace my 12-24. the DX lenses crop down to a 5MP image. I'll experiment with some of those too with the 12-24 (my 'working lens' on my D200)

stay tuned a day or so...
