Wasn't sure exactly where to post this but this area seemed like the closest match.

I've since graduated to a HD and much higher MP system for UW shooting..... so I needed to figure out what to do with my older Canon housing and camera..

As an avid rider, I decided to buy a RAM ball mount and use the set-up for shooting vids off the bike. I had previously tried a Go Pro on the bike but I didn't like the "fish-eye" effect and lack of display. Up here in the Northwest, we ride all year and so that means riding in the rain. So....... the housing was a great solution. The only mod that I did was to rig up a lens cover with a little bungee cord material to cover the lens when not shooting. One bug splat can ruin a good video and one rock can ruin a good housing... so might as well change the odds of that happenning. Otherwize, I can just remove the cover on the fly and hit the go button whenever I want.
