It’s our 10th anniversary next year and we’d like to celebrate with a trip to the Maldives as we have never been before and seems like an appropriate destination for a romantic getaway. Our date is 26th of November so it would be ideally 7-10 nights around then. I have been looking at resort islands and a couple of local islands (Dhigurah is South Ari and Fulidhoo) but I find the resort options very overwhelming because there seems to be too much choice - I need help narrowing down a few standout resorts to consider. What are some favourite resorts I should consider that are especially good for scuba divers? Looking for an excellent diving center, possibly a house reef in good shape (if there are any? Would love to see healthy hard coral…) that we can dive without a guide and interesting dive sites all round with chances of seeing mantas and sharks (of any kind). Finally, we just wish to avoid family style resorts - looking for something more on the quiet / adults only end. Thank you!
