Requesting advise for BVI excursion

I'm a novice, open water diver with 13 dives logged, mostly in Thailand and Malta. I will be sailing around the BVI for one week in February and I am the only diver aboard. I plan to rendezvous dive at some point and I am looking for any advise regarding sites and shops. From what little I have seen so far, the Chimney looks like a good choice. Any other suggestions?

Sail Caribbean Divers :: Scuba diving and water sports in the British Virgin Islands can't say enough good things about this operation. Tell them Sieg sent you! And definitely moored at Cooper Island Beach Club and have a fabulous dinner....tell the managers I sent you as well.

As for dive sites, many good ones:

Indians
RMS Rhone
Angelfish
Painted Walls
DRy Rocks East
Chikuzen
the list goes on......

Super, thanks for the reply. I'll check them out. Have you ever dived at the Chimney? I keep reading about it but don't know anyone who has been there.

We dove the Chimney but I don't remember it well enough to comment. Is that the site with the Orange Cup corals?

Chikuzen is an advanced dive with a high likelihood of being un-diveable when you get out there.

I went to Virgin Gorda five years in a row, diving with DiveBVI. Great outfit, and they happily pick people up off of sailboats. They change their dives according to conditions, and a schedule too, but they do try to accommodate requests. My favorites are Carval Rock, Chikusen, Rhone, Chimney.

I've done a ton of diving with Dive BVI, their Leverick Bay location. Great guys with some great dive sites.
