I have a pany ZS3 with marine housing and have difficulty holding it steady.
It is NOT a steady cam.
Do those tray thingys help reduce the shakes?
Would adding weight help?
I'm ok with dive skills, neutral bouyancy etc....but new to UW vid/photo.
Is it just a matter of practice to get it to remain steady?
Thanks for all replies

Unfortunately, bigger is better when it comes to video. The larger and heavier the housing, the more inertia and resistance to shake. However, I've seen excellent footage from small cameras and lousy footage (mostly mine) from larger housings. I do think you'd be steadier if you mounted the camera on a tray with grips.

Cjfox,
You cannot use a wide angle lens for the ZS3/ZS7. It does not support a wide conversion lens due to camera master lens specification.:uwphotographer:
