Hello,
I recently received an Aqualung Vega 2 with the 5 "D" cells arraigned radially. However, it does not power up. Given the many warnings about battery direction, I figured I should ask for assistance before mucking about too much with it. Can anyone snap a pick of their battery placement? Or at least verify that the "+" on the bottom of the battery hole does (in fact) mean that the + end goes down. I tried 3 sets of new batteries from 2 manufs, so I'm fairly sure it isn't a PEBCAK issue. I suppose I could have a bad build, but it is factory new so I hope that isn't the problem.
Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.
