OK, enough of the military jargon..

I was certified in 83 through PADI - Open Water only. Got out of diving for 30 years due to work and location. Now I have the time to get wet again.
I am aiming to add AOW as my refresher, then Nitrox and maybe wreck certs as well.

Looking for a dive buddy in the SoCal area to work on getting my skills back. Anyone up for a day at Catalina with a born again diver? It may be boring but you will feel better by helping a Veteran reacquire a lost hobby... (sales pitch complete)

I have almost all my gear (no it's not 30 years old).

Looking forward to making new friends and having fun again...

Welcome back to diving, and welcome to :sblogo:!

You might consider posting in the Southern California regional subforum in your buddy search. There are a fair number of SoCal divers here; I'm sure somebody will offer to take you under their wing. Enjoy the beautiful diving of Catalina and the Channel Islands! I love it when I can get down there.
