Career oriented sales person needed to travel the Eastern Caribbean from Bermuda to Trinidad, making sales presentations and taking orders for several scuba manufacturers including a major brand. Individual must be a diver with a good understanding of the equipment and be willing and able to learn the technical aspects of the equipment. Part of the job involves teaching clients to do regulator repair.
Any candidate for this position must be prepared to spend a minimum of 28 weeks a year in the field. In addition to sales trips much time will need to be devoted to communication with accounts via phone and email. Candidate must have a good documented work history and good references.
You must have an outgoing personality, be capable of managing your own time, enjoy travel, have a good knowledge of diving equipment and the ability to learn a lot more, have a stable financial history, and want to work hard for a good potential reward.
Our company has had responsibility for this territory since 1985. There are many established accounts, there have only been two previous reps in the last 28 years, but the candidate must be prepared to make cold calls in order to grow the business.
Compensation is solely commission based. All travel expenses will be deducted from commissions on a monthly basis. The company will help with travel during an initial period.
