I will be doing my rescue cert in the Keys starting June 19th, as well as some "fun" dives. Does anyone know if you can rent an underwater video rig? I have a Sony DCR-TRV10 and before I invest in a housing, I would like to see what the experience is like.

DON'T DO IT!!!! Just kidding, I rented a video camera a couple of years ago in Bonaire and it took me 6 months to get over wanting one bad and I still go into withdrawal every time I see an add in a mag. I still enjoy watching the video, out of focus shots and all.

if anyone happens to know a place in the upper/middle Keys where I can rent a camera, I would appreciate it!

World reknowned UW photographer Steven Frink has a studio in Key Largo. You might be able to rent a video camera there. I know he has classes so it's a good chance.
