Hey everybody!

I was first certified SSI in 1997, but didn't dive at all until I had a refresher this year and my girlfriend certified SEI.

I'm in Brooklyn, but I'll likely dive in the Boston area too. I'm hoping to join the NY Divers and just get into the discussion here.

My initial goal is to dive deeper than 33 feet and dive from a boat. I'm okay with the fact I may stay in the 0-33 ft range this year, but I think it's good to have goals.

Hey Jim, thanks for the welcome! She was certified by a friend of mine, but he's just by himself starting out as an instructor. He trains and dives off Cape Ann mostly.
