Does anyone know how to remove the LED Module from a particular Dive Rite light head ( the model with "single LED" module i.e RX10 , DGX 8700 & RX8) ?
I need to replace it , but I can't get the blasted thing out of the light-head without breaking it ( BTW I have removed the outer O-ring and lens.
It is not screwed in like the previous 3 led model .
Dive Rite have said to return it to them , so they can charge me a ridiculous amount to do it .
They threatened that user removal could void warranty due to incorrect installation.
I told then I have an engineering degree.
Anyway , any help is appreciated. Thanks.
