Dumb question:

I want to install a QD in my Peregrine console, and (1) the design of the boot makes it nearly impossible to get a wrench on the hose to remove it while it's in the boot, and (2) the boot is rigid enough I'm worried I'm going to break something trying to remove the SPG with the hose attached.

Anyone removed one of these before?

Thanks,
-Ben

On my oceanic console I use a metal shoe horn to pop the SPG out. I don't have this conse but it might work

Hot water (not boiling) for just 1 minute, then take it out and bend the boot backwards. Same for installing and removing the computer. Don't burn yourself! :coffee:
