Hi I have an old SnS YS 50 that I use as a slave flash. The original cable gets in the way and makes the set up look clumsy. Anyone taken one of these off and sealed the opening, what would the best way to do this?

My concerns are:

-Nut appears to require a cap to seal it and not sure I could get one of those.

-Should I use araldite to seal it off after I decide whether to use a cap or plug the hole into the plastic case.
