Hi Given the number of posts in the introduction and greets forum, that are basically all the same, why not remove them from the new posts search? It's easy enough to go to the forum if you want to see who has joined. It just seems that in trying to see what new posts have been made you have to wade through ten times as many posts from that forum as from any other forum. unless you're a greeter you don't want to see them. if you are a greeter then you're going to be checking that forum anyway..or how about making 2 seperate searches? one that includes the forum and one that doesn't?

i may be the only one that wants this though!!

Right now there is no feature to accomplish this, hopefully it will be something in the next version of our software.

i thought that the software might not allow it after i posted...thanks for the update though

You could make it opt-in, but I guess that would negate the reason for the forum....

scubasean - Exactly... new members aren't going to opt in for their first post so that option isn't logical and currently there is no way to opt-out, but hopefully there will be in the future.
