I picked up a very sweet r109 and I'm in the process of tear-down. It has not been converted to BA yet. It looks like there is a duro poppet in there but I am not sure how to get it to drop out of the barrel without removing the lever. Any help would be appreciated.

Alternatively, lift the lever as far forward and it will go and use a chopstick (something that will not damage the orifice or seat) to push it out. It will take just a slight pressure. The lever lift and a light push also works for installation.

Yes, it's a 902, but a soft (Duro 70) 010 also works.
